Welcome to our UK National Qu’an Competition

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 10th UK National Qur’an Competition, which by the Grace of Allah, will be held on the 29 and 30 September 2007 from 10am


In association with the Holy Quran Memorization INT ORG. and Al - Manaar (MCHC), the Amal Trust Organises its 10th UK National Quran Competition

Date: Sat 29 & Sun 30 September 2007

Time: 10.00am

Nearest Tube: Westbourne Park & Ladbroke Grove
The competition is divided into the following:



Categories 6A -6I



Please note:

All Candidates must must be present at 9.00am sharp for registration failure to do so might result in turning down your application.
Categories 1 – 5 will be tested on Sat 29 September 2007.
Categories 6A – 6I will be tested on Sun 30 September 2007.




Eligibility:

The Competition is open to everyone under 25 years of age, male and female





In association with Islamic Relief, the Amal Trust is holding its 10th UK National Football Tournament on the 20 October 2007.



This Tournament will bring together youth from all over the UK in an exciting sport festival for the whole family! The tournament is a wonderful opportunity for young people across the country to compete and enjoy themselves in the company of old and new friends.


The football competition is divided into the following categories




Annual Eid Festival and Prize Giving Award Ceremony




The aims of the Eid festival and prize giving Award Ceremony as follow:

To mark the celebration of Eidul Fitr, an important holiday which marks
The end of the fasting the holy month of Ramadaan.

A prize giving Award Ceremony day following the National Qur’an and
Sports competitions among children and teenagers to celebrate their
achievements.

The event is a multi-faith which brings together community leaders,
Leaders of major faith communities, politicians, leaders of local authorities
members of Diplomatic Corps, sport star academics and scholars.

The festival incorporates various shows of entertainment including
nasheed and drama performances by light of the youth and professional
Nasheed groups across the globe.
